  2. You probably meant flavonoid in your article. You will be aware that the FDA has cautioned those who have made claims for flavonoids. The only area of research that indicates beneficial effects for these compounds is in cancer research, and even that effect is VERY minor. The best advice in this article is to go and see a doctor. Much of the rest suggests that one can manage one’s own hypertension. Such advice may be fatally wrong.
