How To Get Rid Of Blackheads

The Old Age Question of How to Get Rid of Blackheads

Blackheads are one of the most common skin conditions that people face, so it’s only normal for many to try and learn how to get rid of blackheads naturally.

Though everyone tends to get blackheads in their life, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they need to suffer from having them all the time, as there are things that can be done to get rid of blackheads. The blackheads on the nose are probably the most common places to get the skin problem, as the nose tends to be the most oiliest part of the face.

Before you can learn how to remove blackheads, it is advisable that you first know the causes of the skin problem so that you will be able to get rid of them faster and actually understand how they came up. The entire blackhead removal process is very fast once you know what causes them to appear on the face.

What Exactly Causes Blackheads?

Blackheads commonly are black or yellow in color, and they are small bumps which appear on your pores. They have the tendency to cover the hair follicles with dead skin cells and sebum while they often appear on your nose, forehead, chest, neck, and essentially all the places that contain a lot of oil glands. The main factor that causes them to appear is bad hygiene, because if your hygiene isn’t that good, your pores will be filled with bacteria and germs; therefore, you then start to get blackheads on your face.

How To Get Rid Of Blackheads Naturally

  • Egg

Egg is one of the most popular and most effective remedies for blackheads, as it instantly gets rid of them. First, just crack open a regular sized egg, and then start to separate the egg whites and the yolk. Afterwards, apply the egg whites all over the areas that have blackheads, and after the surface hardens, make sure that you then wash the surface with lukewarm water. Never wash the surface with cold nor hot water, as it will shock the skin cells causing them to worsen. When you wipe the surface, make sure that you only pat the surface, not scrub, because it will cause early stages of wrinkles on that area. After you have used the egg whites, make sure that you then apply the egg yolk on the surface, and once it hardens, you should then wash it again with lukewarm water. Egg whites actually minimizes the size of your pores while the egg yolk acts as a natural moisturizer.

  • Tomato

Tomato is also a very powerful remedy for blackheads, as it’s filled with a bunch of skin enhancing properties. Just cut open a tomato, and then grab the half that has the stem, then start massaging the tomato all over your blackheads. Keep the tomato on the surface for about 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it with lukewarm water afterwards. Try to do this remedy before you sleep so that the skin with blackheads will be able to absorb most of the nutrients inside of the tomato.

  • Nutmeg And Milk

Nutmeg and milk is probably my personal favorite remedy for blackheads, because it doesn’t just get rid of the blackheads super fast, but it also leaves the skin super soft as well. Just grind a couple of nutmegs, and then mix it with milk. Afterwards, apply the mixture all over the surface that have blackheads, then make sure that you keep it on for about 5 to 10 minutes. Just like all of the remedies, wash it with lukewarm water, as you don’t want your blackheads to worsen from the harsh cold and hot water. Hot water actually opens the pores while cold water closes the pores but also leaves them shocked at the same time.

  • Orange Peel

Orange peel is also one of the most popular home remedies for blackheads, as it gets rid of blackheads, and at the same time, it decreases the size of your pores. Just blend an entire orange peel with a bit of water, and then start mixing it together until it has become a paste. Apply the orange peel paste all over your blackheads, and then make sure that you keep it on the surface for about 20 minutes. Allow your blackheads to absorb all of the nutrients such as vitamin C that orange peels have. Remember, the peel of each fruit happens to contain more health and skin benefits than the fruit itself, but since they don’t have a pleasant taste, no one eats them.

  • Toothpaste

Toothpaste may seem like it doesn’t do much, but you may be surprised on how powerful of a blackhead remedy it happens to be. Toothpaste is the easiest home remedy that you can do, and the best part is that it’s just as effective as all of the other remedies out there. Make sure that you apply the paste part of the toothpaste (not the gel) on your blackheads before you sleep, and then when you wake up, you should then wash the area with blackheads with lukewarm water. The moment you wake up, you will notice how your blackheads have lost its oil and how dry they have become. Don’t take them out, let them fall off themselves, as they will fall off in a couple of days. Just make sure that you do this remedy everyday before you sleep so that your blackheads will disappear faster. Your face will feel a bit of a sting the first time you apply toothpaste on your blackheads, but you will get used to it after a couple of days. With toothpaste, you’ll no longer need to learn how to get rid of blackheads, as it’s very effective already.

How To Get Rid Of Blackheads Permanently

Once your blackheads have disappeared, it’s important that you know how to keep them from coming back. Try to drink as much water as you possibly can, because the more water you drink, the healthier your skin will become. If you can drink more than 8 glasses of water, then don’t hesitate to drink more, as it will really benefit your skin.

Once you have tried one of the home remedies for blackheads above, you will no longer need to bother learning how to remove blackheads, as the treatments above are really effective. With the remedies above, learning how to get rid of blackheads will never be difficult for you.
