Is Psoriasis Contagious?
The answer is definitely; Not at all. It is neither contagious nor infectious as many people have assumed to be the general perception of this condition.
The occurrence of Psoriasis can be credited to genetics which passes this as a genetic trait through the generations. Though it has many myths attached to it this is as common as any other skin condition which is not threatening or passes from one person to other by general social contact.

I completely agree with you about the connection with diet and how important it is for managing. I know when I’ve been eating and drinking things I ‘shouldn’t', I always get a flare up the next day
I also try to find a natural scalp psoriasis treatment where I can. Their individual specific effectiveness varies - and I have been through quite a few varieties now, but I always stick to natural products as I just don’t want all those horrible chemicals near me.
