You should never snort (or pour) tap water into your nose, it can be even more dangerous than a sinus infection because of the bacteria in the water! Very irresponsible of you to not note thy distilled water should be used!

You are correct Mary. Thanks for pointing that out. I have edited the information the salt water remedy as to make sure that distilled water is used, as some tap water does indeed contain bad bacterias as you say.
